Certified Weld Repairs
The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors sets the standards for boiler repair in the United States.
The “R” (Repair) Symbol Stamp certifies that repairs made on boilers or pressure vessels are in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC).
In order to perform R Stamp welds and repairs, welders are tested and certified in the quality of their weld joint through a rigorous testing procedure. All of CBR’s welders have been so tested and certified. CBR has received authorization to use the R Stamp, confirming that we have developed and maintain a strict quality control system for code repairs. It also ensures that CBR always performs up to the National Board’s high standards.
Connecticut Boiler Repair holds R Stamp #27.
This is one of the first R Stamps issued by the NBIC, and we have continuously held this authorization since it was established by the National Board.
